The 13th Doctor Fight
Today I want to tell you guys A story. So I discorvered that there was a Doctor Who Yule log released this year. So I went on this 2 hour video, and took a look into the comments to see what some of the secrets were, as Christmas had past and I didn’t have time to watch the whole thing. What I found was the same thing that has been under every other doctor who related thing since 13s announcement. The ongoing war between lovers and haters of Jodie’s doctor. Well, the best way to keep it going is to complain, so here we go.
So lemme start by probably making both sides angry. I did not think this was the best season of doctor who. I did not however, hate it. I think it was ok, and that I’ve seen worse. 13 is fine, I personally prefer 11 and 12, and I personally prefer Steven Moffat over Chris Chibnall. The worst part of this season for me, however, wasn’t any of the writing or the acting. It wasn’t the music or the Look. It was the constant fighting between the haters and lovers of series 11.
Most of these were at least doctor who fans, but some were just people wanting to join in an argument. Back to my Yule log story, this was again what I saw in the comments. Guys, you can love or hate series 11. But hearing the same arguments for both sides everywhere helps no one. For the lovers, stop trying to force someone’s opinion to change, that isn’t your job. To the haters, stop saying the same things on repeat. If Doctor Who is going to listen, they’ve heard the same arguments enough time to know what you want. I’m expecting even more fighting come the New Years special, but I’m really hoping we, as a fan base, can at least try to just get along. I understand this Is never really going to happen, but surely we can better. I’m still tuning in and watching, and I still have hope for series twelve
